I had a deviantART account when I was 12, that was the first time I ever stood up for myself. On the fourth day of my grade 7 art class the teacher took the pen from my hand, drew on my picture, and told me I was doing it wrong. I stood up, left the room, and never went back. The next day, my piece, a rose bush with no leaves or flowers just a naked, exposed branch protruding from the grass, was hanging in the doorway of our school, mysteriously the pen mark had vanished.  I had a deviantART account when I was 12, my mom told me that I would be stalked online, or raped, or a plethora of other things. aNd DaNiEl ToLd Me My ArT sUcKeD.&#1
